Fair Lawn Medical Equipment Gemach is a nonprofit dedicated to providing access to essential medical equipment for those facing financial, medical, or insurance-related challenges. We collect and loan out new and gently used items—such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and more. Operated entirely through donations and volunteers, we aim to ease burdens, promote dignity, and reduce medical waste through equipment reuse.
We offer a wide range of medical equipment to help those in need.
Hospital beds fall outside our local equipment loan program. We serve them through Hospital Bed Exchange, a national program of Fair Lawn Gemach Corp operating in all fifty states.
To give away a bed you no longer need, please donate a hospital bed. If a member of your family requires one at home, you may request a free hospital bed instead.
Every donor is paired with a recipient located within fifty miles. The bed itself carries no charge. Transport remains the responsibility of whoever receives it, arranged through a licensed mover at their own expense.
